Job Summary

Plans, conducts, and coordinates the administration of corporate human resources programs and contributes to the development of local policies, programs, and practices in functions such as employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, security, staffing, labor relations, diversity/affirmative action, and related areas.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance to line leadership and/or key input to various management regarding employee relations/labor practices.
  • Investigates formal employee complaints and makes recommendation for company's response/action.
  • Assists with investigation and response to EEOC charges.
  • Ensures that Labor and Employment law is followed to minimize Corporate exposure to liability. Consults with supervisor.
  • Provides guidance to managers and employees on employee/labor relations issues. Conducts employee focus groups.
  • Conducts termination interviews and compiles statistical reports and information on turnover. Conducts research, analyzes data, and prepares recommendations on unemployment claims.
  • Researches and consolidates information required for analysis of Human Resources Operations. Performs special projects as assigned.
  • Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Exercises judgment in simple matters, considering defined procedures and practices to recommend appropriate action.
  • Builds productive working relationships internally. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor and other personnel in group.
  • Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity. Follows established policies and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities. Errors do not typically have a significant effect on the organization.
  • Researches matters related to contract negotiation, grievance cases, arbitrations, conciliations, federal and state labor legislation.

Basic Qualifications

  • English level 80%
  • Degree in business administration, organizational psychology or similar discipline
  • 2+ years or more of experience in human resource management
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Power Point)
  • Preferable experience in TRESS & SAP system
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work effectively in a team environment with all levels of organization
  • Ability to create, foster and grow business relationships with management and team members

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
