Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Controller to lead our finance department.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record of financial management.
As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws.
Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, working closely with external tax advisors.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Manage relationships with external auditors, bankers, and other financial partners.
Lead and develop the finance team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure professional growth and success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.

years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5
years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies to drive business results.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.
g.
, SAP, Oracle).
Strong leadership and management abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
