Summary:
Responsible for the removal of material and discoloration on the product while performing duties to support the direct labor operations of the fabrication department.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Prep work area and product for blastingInspect each part for cleanliness and defects after blast.
Ensure proper removal of debris in the workstation.
Maintain media blasting equipment by daily inspection of hoses or nozzles.
Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1-year experience preferred.
Ability to work independently, detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee operates in a loud noise level environment.
This position regularly works near moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and tools.
This position regularly works in outside weather conditions.
